An 8 hour workout

20 March 2015

Just a regular thursday… We started the day with showing our jazz assignments for the second time. Everyone has been practicing on it since we last showed it two weeks ago – so this time it had to be an improved version! I guess it went pretty well, because all of us seemed happy (but well, it could also be because it’s weekend soon…)

In the afternoon, we went to Debbie’s to dance our asses off! We were there from 2pm to 10.30pm and were dancing most of the time. Some of us took extra classes which meant that we only had around 45 minutes break in total – and almost 8 hours of dancing! It was crazy hard and my body is so tired, but I LOVE IT! There are so many different classes to choose from – waacking, poppin’, breakdancing, tutting, krumping, burlesque, bollywood and salsa – just to name a few. It is so cool to try that many new styles of dancing!

“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” they say, and that’s exactly what dancing does – makes us stronger. It’s incredible to feel how much and how fast we are all developing these days!
